About Queer Move
Queer Move was born from a simple idea — moving is stressful enough without having to worry about who's going to turn up at your front door to help you move. We know from first hand-experience that for many in the LGBTQ+ community, finding services where you feel truly welcome isn't always a given. That's why everything we do is built around safety, inclusivity, respect and community.
That approach clearly struck a chord. What started as a single pink truck, operating out of an inner-north Melbourne yard has now grown into a fleet of 3 pink trucks & a wonderful team of professional removalists - all booked, blessed and busy!
Whether you're moving a single bedroom or a family home, we're here to take the heavy lifting off your hands & Make Moving a Gay Ol' Time

Packing and planning services
Removals' services can be booked for any day of the week, subject to availability.
If your inventory exceeds the stowage capacity of a single truck we will suggest multiple trips between properties or, if the distance between properties is too long for multiple trips, booking a second truck & 4 babes total at double the hourly rate. This requires advanced planning so it is unlikely to be possible on short notice.
Pricing
Prices (Includes GST)
Weekdays: $190/hr (1 hr minimum)
Saturdays: $210/hr (1 hr minimum)
Sundays: $210/hr (2 hr minimum)
Public Holidays $250/hr (4 hr minimum)
Long Distance Moves: Add $20 per hr
Additional Removalists: Weekdays $60/hr/person Weekends $80/hr/person (each 4 hr minimum)
After the daily minimum, we charge in 15 minute intervals, rounded up
Cancellations (including rescheduling) made within 2 business days of the booking will incur a cancellation fee equalling the daily minimum

Fill out all the details as prompted

Walk through your house and note EVERYTHING you want moved. Don't forget outdoor items, bikes, desk chairs.

List how many boxes/bags/suitcases you estimate having even if you have not packed yet.

Please don't forget to list the suburb and access details of both locations

Take note of the size of the lift, if it will be locked off the exclusive use of the removalists or shared with the building and if the lift breaks down how many flights of stairs there are
Please note:

We do not move: offices, pianos, live animals, dirty kitty litter, industrial printers, pool tables, safes, compressed gases, flammable, hazards or toxic materials. The removalists reserve the right to decline to move anything they feel is unsafe to do so.
Our office hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday. 9-3pm Fridays. Closed Weekends & Public Holidays. Inquiries will only be answered during this time. Please allow up to 2 business days for a response.

Moving is just the beginning. Queer Moves also offers professional cleaning and lawn services, so you can hand back the keys on your old place spotless and arrive at your new one ready to settle in — without lifting a finger.
